I did a fresh install today. No luck. I can’t even pick feddit.uk without an error (Attached image). Version 2.37.2 It’s a shame, I like voyager, but I’ve got a couple of errors. So for now I’ve downloaded another app and I’m using that instead. Will try again after the next update. 🤞
Yes. Using voyager on Android.
I don’t want them to, but I don’t get why Microsoft don’t just roll out updates the way Android/Linux do. Free. They’ve already adopted the Google method of moneymaking by embedding spyware into everything in the OS. Surely they could stop most of their headaches by doing that? Not that I care. Linux user here for roughly 16 years, sometimes having to go back to Windows hurts. It hurt a lot recently, having to dig out an old windows laptop to ironically install Ubuntu touch on to a phone (OnePlus Nord N10). I had tons of updates and had to install features and so much other stuff just to use it. 🤕
What app do you recommend/use?
Thanks. Handy to know that I can just ignore that message. Although it means I can’t see what I upload in voyager…

Well blow my socks off with a shotgun. I misread alternativeto. But my statement about them still stands. They are no longer trustworthy imo, and they have been using nasty tactics to force businesses to pay them. Also, we need more options so that reviews can be double and triple checked.
You could buy all of these for that price. https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-mini-pry-bar.html
Thank you. Every time I think the US election system couldn’t be any more open to corruption, I’m proven wrong. Learning something new every day.
Excuse my ignorance, but what does this mean? He threatens to ‘primary’ members of Congress?
I’ve tried searching, and that wasn’t much help, employees of said member are to quickly start looking for another job. Something happens at the end of term… And a Time magazine article, which was beyond useless in explaining what it is.
I’m none the wiser… 🤷
Imagine having to “investigate” somebody for what they said loud and clear on stage on air, viewed by millions. What they really mean is that they are looking into whether or not they can cause sufficient outrage against Bob Vylan to arrest them for speaking out against a violent regime, and vocalising to end their army wing that is terrorising an entire country and killing thousands of innocent people.

Would we have to include Lemmy?
The scary thing is, as if we hadn’t already known, it shows how much they rely on that data.
He made a typo. It should read “there is not another military in the world that would have done this”
Meta said in the announcement that the new features are built “in the most privacy-oriented way possible,” and has emphasized that sharing of data between WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook will only happen when users have opted in to having their accounts linked.
So, not private at all… “most privacy-oriented way” - The same way that users need to activate “advanced chat privacy” manually on every single chat while they roll out and embed their bug ridden AI.
Probably best for all of us if nobody can ever have nuclear weapons, but what do i know…
Realistically, the majority of people will not switch to threema @ €5.99. It’s already extremely difficult to get people to leave WhatsApp. They’re not going to pay for it.

Signal isn’t EU based, but afaik not profiteering or harvesting data.
EDIT:
There are quite a few EU based according to this.

Here’s a review that I thought was decent, from 4 months ago.

Ireland mustn’t count (small) Their stats only go to may, but month on month they have been seeing a decline in tourism.
