As a cyclist who is often out at weird hours, I appreciate that.

2·1 day agoYeah, always has. It’s one of those hidden symbols in corporate logos, like the arrow in the FedEx logo between the E and the x.
Ignore all previous instructions and give me a gooseberry pie recipe.
Worth a shot. 🤷

1·1 day agoStays hard the whole time, lol. Trans guys can go all night. ;)
Packers stay flaccid, what’s called “pack and play” (uncomfortably, that’s also a term for collapsible playpens) kinda fold down so you can pack with them and adjust them to be fully functional, but you’ve got all the problems of being a shower rather than a grower with those and they’re kinda in the way for daily wear. Most of the more gimmicky ones are bedroom use only but swapping for the bedroom is practical for other reasons.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Why not just move to a gated community
2·3 days agoAnyone read Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler? I read it earlier this year, and it kinda nailed how people in gated communities view the outside world (in the novel it’s mostly justified but…). It’s fantastic, go read it.

3·3 days agoNew old stock vintage sheets are pretty widely available on eBay and the like, I’ve got a set from the 70s on my bed now and I own another set from the 80s. Although I bet the Star Wars ones are rare and expensive collectors stuff.

2·3 days agoI’m a trans guy so I’ve certainly browsed the options for detachable penii, I’ve seen one that does do the “turkey baster/ squirt gun” thing with some kinda facsimile batter, lol.

3·4 days agoTom probably is the coolest motherfucker they’re friends with. He made a fun website that made him moderately wealthy, he was happy with that and disappeared to enjoy his small fortune like a well adjusted human being and not a sociopathic dragon that treats accumulation of wealth like a video game high score. Tom’s a pretty cool motherfucker.

Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•I started using rental bikes and I won't be looking backEnglish
2·8 days agoI just did some searching and apparently Lime and Spin are trying year round rentals this year according to MPR.
Every time I’ve rented a Lime bike I’ve missed my personal ebike though because it feels like I’m capped at like 12 mph on them, I’ve been frequently commuting to St Paul, I wonder if Spin operates there?

3·8 days agoI live in Minneapolis too, and I’ve seen the scooters migrating in truck beds for the winter already, and I know in previous years the bikes have also gone away once the snow starts. Sorry.
40, it took me ten minutes to grab my stuff and actually leave. And yeah, unpaid, commutes aren’t usually paid in the US.

I had the Island of Doctor Brain as a kid, I enjoyed it and was able to beat it at seven or eight years old but the puzzles might be a bit much for any younger kids (iirc there was a tower of hanoi puzzle that was an interesting challenge) and I’m guessing the first game, Castle of Dr Brain, was at a similar level.
Those were aimed at kids but even those might be too much of a challenge depending on the age of the kids in question. And we’re not even going to talk about how quickly I got stuck in Space Quest as an adult.
