The music is one of the best things about this series. It’s full of addictive little dittys throughout the game.

It so sort of does seem planned to some extent as they only gave TenHag 1 year extension, had already talked to other managers. I think they were hoping to have TH get the team through the year in a reasonable state for the new guy to take over next year, but seems theyve had to accelerate the plans a bit.and just accept they will have to pay the compensation for the new manager.
On the attacking coaching, I’m not really seeing much improvement. Our approach is still get it to the wingers who just run forwards and blast it. Or if we do work it inside then as soon as it gets to Bruno he will just wildly blast it.
Nobody has informed the team that we do now intact have a number 9 the can play off of or set up.
Hopefully a little new manager bounce. But do you think Ruud will stick around with a new manager, or that it for him and a bunch of the new coaching staff who only recently came in?
Shrug. Dunno. Find a new hobby maybe. Season is over. Don’t know if it’s worth watching anymore games until next August now.

Mbeumo has scored 8 on his own. Even Danny Welbeck already has 6!
We have to find more ways to score, we can’t rely on the wingers cutting in and smashing one in, or a Casemiro header as our only goal scoring options.
That miss sums up the first half. Sooo many chances but just no clue on how to finish or no confidence that they can do it. Just hitting it without any thought and hoping for the best.
Doesn’t feel like we have a way back into this game. Just had a few uneventful ventures forward with no end product so far.

Seriously, after the first film this is as far from what you’d expect, and want from a sequel.

It’s just not something Rashford is able to do, it’s just not a part of his game as much as they try to coach it into him, assuming they have tried.
He’s always played best with a reliable left back covering for him and giving him the confidence to do his thing. i.e. when he’d play with Luke Shaw.
Conceding after only 3 mins was a sucker punch we could have done without.
I would have liked to have seen if we could have come back into it in the 2nd half but the sending off immediately killed the game off, which was disappointing.
Here are some positives. We didn’t lose 6-0, Bruno gets the rest he needs now, and Hojlund is back. Also it was only 1-0 when Bruno got sent off, Spurs were wasting all their chances so it isn’t wild to say United could have got back into it in the 2nd half if it weren’t for the sending off.
I don’t expect Van to change things massively but at least I want him to have told the attacking midfielders to pass more and not just shot on site as soon as they receive the ball.
