This osprey had just brought a fish to its young in their nest on top of this man-made osprey platform.
🌎: Lewes, DE, USA
Either they just go for it or one of the parents provides a loving shove. In either case, the terminal velocity of a fledgling osprey probably isn’t too fast and the swamp below isn’t too hard.
