Some good news on the bot front due to the upgrade to 18.1 both here and on fanaticus.social:

• No more 10k limit! All your highlight goodness is back in the game thread.
• No more web sockets, meaning that our game threads will no longer harass people not interested in Baseball.

So, what does this mean for you? The bot has the capability of posting game status as comments in the game thread. We can configure it to post just certain game situations - like pitching changes and scoring plays, all the way up to a near play-by-play experience.

So, What level of bot comments do you want to see?

1. Nothing - just user comments
2. Phillies scoring plays
3. Both team scoring plays
4. Scoring plays + Pitching changes
5. Phillies base hits + above
6. Phillies pitcher K’s, + above
7. Turn on the firehose

…or some other combination that suits your fancy? Let me know in the comments below, and I’ll adjust the bot config to suit.

Edit: Sounds like everyone is voting for option 4, though I’m adding Phils Ks just because I like them. If you hate it, let me know and I’ll turn it off.
