I’ve been browsing LowEndBox and found a good deal with vpshostingservice.co. The problem is that I’ve never heard of them before so I’m wondering if the deal is too good to be true.

Their cheapest $5 Linux VPS isn’t any better than one from a reputable host like Vultr. This isn’t really a deal, just use a trusted hoster instead.

I found a code on LowEndBox which gives me 2GB RAM on a Linux vps for $2. I would be included to agree with you for their normal pricing though

If you search for vpshostingservice.co/cheapwindowsvps.com (same service) on lowendbox, you’ll find a range of opinions. For non-critical use, it seems fine to me. But if you think that deal is too good to be true, you should browse more of the holiday deal threads on there, especially on black friday. It’s a decent deal, just not exceptional.
