If you want a hardcore FF-2 successor, then Romancing Saga is for you, also by Square Enix. Then there’s a Final Fantasy Adventure successor, aka the Mana Series - I love the Sword of Mana, which is the first game in the series - but unfortunately, that isn’t available on mobile, also on mobile phone. And obviously, the HD port of original Final Fantasy 1-6, also available, but I don’t think you’ll enjoy them that much.
