I am interested in getting a German watch. I like the idea of having a few different nice watches from all over the world. I’ve been looking at some of the Form Cs and Chronoscopes from junghans but would love to hear if anyone has recommendations or opinions!?
Sinn, Damasko, Tutima, Nomos, Muhle Glashutte, Laco, Stowa, Steinhart, Hanhart, Kudoke, Glashutte Original, A. Lange & Sohne just to name a few 🙂
I love these ones: https://meistersinger.com/
these are very cool , the single hand is a really interesting design choice. I’ve seen a few of these but couldn’t recall the brand name. Thanks!
Junghans is great and very affordable, bit pricier but very very nice is Nomos Glashuette
Nomos Glashuette
Nice! these are cool. I like the Metro , a little bit ‘funkier’ than my normal selection but maybe that is a good thing.
Sinn
Sinn
Nice, I was familiar with Sinn but actually didn’t realize that Sinn was German ; learn something new every day : )
To add just a few that haven’t been mentioned, at various price points:
- Archimede
- Lilienthal Berlin
- Circula
- Union Glashutte
- Guinand
- Defakto
- Braun
I own Archimede, Braun, and Nomos
Late to this thread but I recently purchased a Schaumburg timepiece with a meteorite dial. It’s pretty amazing.
One and only: Schaffhausen
That’s a Swiss brand.
It’s actually a Swiss city.
Good to know but is it a German brand or not in the end?
Since I guess IWC is the brand meant here, it is a Swiss brand founded by an American.
Today I learned, thanks 🙏!
