I tried some this morning after like 12 hours in the jar, it’s incredible. It smells amazing, the high is just what I’m looking for in a good leg medicine. I’m really excited to see what it turns in to!
I don’t think there’s anywhere local but I’m considering getting a chromotography kit and testing it myself, by my estimation it’s probably about 20-22%. Plus the terpene profile is amazing, I really can’t even express how good it smells even before a full cure, and growing in living soil means it’s even smooth right away because I don’t use nutrient salts.
Grove bags are probably out for me, it looks like cool tech but I literally hate plastic so much and I don’t really want to smoke out of it. If it weren’t for those ideological reasons I’d probably use them. I even take my own glass jar to my local weed man 😂 legalization sucks because of all the plastic waste, let me buy weed at the farmer’s market!
Shit good to hear, mines drying too fast I think. Can’t keep the humidity up in the whole house with how cold it is outside.
I’ve heard mixed things about the smoothness, some blind studies have been done with results that show its preference if anything. But I would want to see a proper study before arguing the point myself.
That’s fair, they used to have a sustainability page with a pledge to go hemp based (can’t find it which isn’t a good sign to me), but other than that why try to keep minimal waste and use vegan/soy inks as well. For the the product they make they seem to be doing as much as they can to do the right thing.
I just like I can stick whole branches in their 1lb bag and trim it when I can.
Maybe not the whole house, but if you have a spare tent you could probably hang in it with a humidifier and slow things down a little? Just by the grace of ExxonMobil, the weather here for the last week has been literally perfect for drying- 50 degrees, about 60% humidity.
That’s fair, I’m not really basing that off anything other than my own subjective experience 😂 but in my opinion living soil makes the best tasting pot.
It’s frustrating for me when these companies make commitments to sustainability and don’t follow through. Even more frustrating when they pretend they didn’t commit in the first place. If those hemp bags ever come out I’ll give it the ol college try though for sure.
I’ve got the humidifier in the tent with the fan on auto, but it’s pumping 60rh air into my house when it needs to be under 35rh to prevent condensation on the windows. If I could turn the fan off and not worry about smell or mold I would, but need the air moving.
It’s -40c outside and my dehumidifer is working OT haha.

Oh shit! -40c is pretty cold 😂 I understand that’s the magic temperature where it’s also -40f, right? Miserable.
I was in my tshirt outside last week, so one week of miserable weather isn’t too bad. Just bad timing for the ladies.
Yes it is.
