for the record, i say it the first way (/u/ as in “goose”). hearing kirbyvolt (other comment) say it the other way in their kirby and the forgotten land let’s play is what inspired me to post this.
i wasn’t able to find an official english pronunciation from the nintendo of america youtube channel, but here’s how various youtubers pronounce it:
