Not everyone in the west is pro hamas. Worldnews and Al Jazeera (read Qatar state media and Hamas propaganda outlet) are a bubble.

The major players who lead to the Nazi cure don’t recognize the Palestinian state. And murdering your own citizens is well within the purview of a nation state.

Israel will need to be held accountable by the rest of the world

Removed. Comment was fine until you wished for the destruction of Israel. Do not advocate violence.

Okay, but I see many people here justifying the masacre in Gaza committed by Israel: that makes me think that it would be also fine for me to say that I hope that will happen in Israel what is now happening in Gaza. As far as logic goes, justifying the masacre now is also advocating violence. Correct me if I’m wrong.

It’s a little different, the removed comment was wishing for Israel what happened to Nazi Germany, so the complete destruction and eradication of the state of Israel.

If someone were advicating for the elimination of Palestine or the complete destruction of Gaza and the West Bank, I’d remove those comments as well.

BUUUT, that being said, I do have a life and don’t have time to comb through comments one by one. :) So as mods we rely on reports before taking action. This comment was reported, others may not have been.

My good friend, what are you talking about? What eradication? Last time I’ve checked Germany was still there, and the germans too. I understand you can’t read every comment but when you do give it more than a second of consideration. What happened in Germany was eradication of Nazism, not of the country.

That’s what they said about the war in Ukraine, too. It’s been two years, soon.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

The war began on 7 October after Hamas led a wave of deadly attacks on communities inside Israel.

Last week US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called on Israel to lower the intensity of its strikes to limit “harm done to civilians”.

On Tuesday Herzi Halevi, chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces, told a news conference that the war would “continue for many more months” to ensure that “our achievements are preserved for a long time”.

A previous temporary truce deal negotiated by Qatar saw dozens of hostages released from Gaza in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.

Meanwhile Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer is Washington for talks with Mr Blinken and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.

The talks will focus on “matters related to the conflict in Gaza and the return of hostages held by Hamas”, National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson said.

The original article contains 416 words, the summary contains 146 words. Saved 65%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

They’ve said, multiple times, their goal is to eliminate Hamas. This shouldn’t come as a surprise.

If all they wanted was genocide they would have stayed on their side of the border and simply shelled Gaza to the ground.

Hamas should surrender. They’re not winning this but they are getting a lot of Palestinians killed.

This is a genocide. The Israeli government and military however are obligated to make absolutely certain nothing like 10-7 can ever happen again. Does anyone have a solution to ensure that that’s better that complete genocide?
