I’m tired and read the title as pythons slowly but surely 1) traveling to their home and 2) ending up in the territory where another scientific study is being conducted on pythons; or just finding a new room in someone’s house that we call a “study”.

That’s so funny, it is a bit of awkwardly worded title. Glad you enjoyed it, I thought it was interesting as well. I have an RSS set up to find new animal communication studies to post in my lemmy community and this showed up in it, it isn’t exactly animal communication so I didnt post it there, but I figured there may be a snake group that may appreciate it.
