If you don’t want to live in a state with Mexicans in it don’t live in a state we/you stole from Mexico.

Were they talking about Colorado? Seems like “stolen from Mexico” would apply squarely to Texas.

Could be, I’m used to people claiming Colorado was part of Mexico and not knowing the history.

Mexico was a result of Napoleon defeating Spain in 1808. It operated as an oligarchy until 1855 when it elected an actual government. It sold Texas and Northern Mexico to the United States in 1848 in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo for $10 Million.

Mexico as it is today was established in 1920 after a decade of Civil Wars between 1910 and 1920.

Yes… asking Texas to make sure these people are treated humanely and given the provisions to thrive in the next city the Texas government deemed appropriate. That’s “too much”.

I’d ask if you read the article but I doubt you can read. Just in case I’ll tl;dr for ya. Colorado took care of them and didn’t complain about anything except the fucking morons who sent them here without warm clothing.

Tell me, from your own personal experience, what is it like to be evil? What is it about the suffering of others that you enjoy?

How is it evil? Denver wants immigrants, Texas does not, so send immigrants to Colorado. Everything is done with consent.

I took some time to think about this. Even though Texas’ administration gets consent from the immigrants, they 1. abuse that consent by dropping them off in the cold, and 2. don’t get consent from Colorado.

Instead of dropping immigrants off at warm, designated drop-off points, they are being dropped off in the winter cold, unjacketed and unannounced, in front of the capital building. Then, people such as yourself rub your hands together and go “oh boy, I hope the immigrants and Coloradans suffer from this.” The whole thing has the energy of a spiteful child.

The upside is that it’s probably good for the immigrants, who are now with people that care about them. But if it were a good-faith effort to help people, there would be clear communication and negotiation between Texas and Colorado. Alas no, so it’s in bad faith, energized by hate, and rooted in evil.

Sounds to me like a reason to cut funding for immigration resources in TX since they just want to spend their money sending immigrants to Colorado. Let’s send Colorado some of that TX money.
