Adobe could release an open source fork of Figma at time of purchase, then sponsor the project for a set amount of time deemed fit by the EU.
However this is just pie in the sky thinking. I used to use Figma back in its early days and I loved it. After some decisions I didn’t agree with I started using Penpot. I still yearn for features from Figma and unfortunately don’t have time or money to contribute to Penpot.
