My friend’s neighbor shot himself in the bathroom of the house he was renting. After the police left, my friend and the landlord that owned the two properties had to clean his brains off of the bathroom walls and mop up a puddle of blood. My friend got a free month rent for helping the landlord.

    This is America.

… Only a free month? After cleaning up brains? I hope there was also some pay for therapy.

Over a thousand dollars to wipe up a biohazard ain’t bad. Also gives them a month to find a new roommate without having to worry about covering his share of the rent.

I think it being a biohazard is not the issue.

Also, if you equate a roommate’s brain matter to any other biohazard waste, you might be psychopathic. I don’t mean that as an insult. Just keep in mind that most people aren’t as apathetic about these things.

But You don’t know what kinds of medical issues can be exposed when (any) types of bodies are open. Even in meat packing plants they are suited up.

            you might be psychopathic

That’s a sever misuse of a word. You’re behaving quite hyperbolic for someone trying to downplay another topic.

It’s not the issue. As in the thing causing trauma. I didn’t say it wasn’t an issue. Seems like you’re focusing on the wrong part of the whole exchange.

As for being hyperbolic. I don’t think I am. EXTREME lack of empathy is an indicator of psychopathic tendencies. Although it really depends how you define the word.

It’s a leap to call concern of brain matter as an extreme lack of empathy. It’s loaded with prediction on your end of other people’s intent. No basis. to even go that distance to attribute it to psychotic tendencies. It reveals your lack of intellect to be ‘diagnosing’ so eagerly and incorrectly online. You did a bad job today.

Sorry, but cleaning up a suicide isn’t the job of the police, or even EMT beyond a certain point. This is why crime scene cleaning companies exist.

I would hope so. It’s massively dangerous to the exposure without the right gear.

this one is on the landlord for not taking proper precautions to call in a crew

Not sure what that has to do with the police, but they should have recommended a company to to help with cleanup at least.

Yeah or at least communicate. Helping with a transition on something like this is wholly overlooked and they are part of the process so certainly they can be communicating something.
