I have a pixel 7

Currently using Cambridge Melomania headphones, so maybe I should get the pixel headphones? Are the pros worth it? Do we think they’ll go on sale in Dec?

Given that 8’s are out, combined with Black Friday in less than a month, could be worth a phone upgrade since your 7 still has resale value.

Good option I hadn’t thought of, but I tend to buy a phone outright and then use it till it fails

I do as well, but starting to rethink that game plan. I’m on a 6Pro, battery life is terrible even after a replacement battery (OEM), but now that’s it’s 4 phones behind, it’s way harder to sell, and won’t bring in anything meaningful to fund the next one. I think this was the dud for the 6 series. My 5a was a piece of shit as well, yet my 4a is running all my houses IoT apps I don’t trust and going strong as ever. They definitely have a dud every couple phones.

Wife breaks my balls (iPhone) but she also paid $1200 vs my $400 when I got this on a black Friday deal, I’m still winning that one, plus, we have super duper high tech advanced features, like moving an icon out of the way of my kids face on my wallpaper! Ahahahahha.

I also have a Pixel 7, and I bought some Pixel Buds Pros during the Amazon deal days for $120. I’d say they’re definitely worth it.

I was using 1st gen AirPods Pros, which were fine, but they never quite fit right in my ears regardless of which tips I used. The Pixel Buds, on the other hand, fit snugly and provide a good seal which makes active noise cancellation excellent. They also have great sound and call quality.

The only drawback is that the touch volume control is super finicky to the point that I just use my phone.

i feel kinda silly about this but the pixel buds pro got me to admit that one of my ear canals is apparently bigger than the other. they have some kind of automated fitment test that you can run to determine which tips to use and it told me to mismatch mine, which had honestly never occurred to me as an option because surely my body is perfectly symmetrical, right?. anyways, so they get some bonus points for seal quality in my book.

Depending on when it expires, I would wait for Black Friday week - surely there will be a sale.

I used mine on Pixel Pods Pro and have no regrets.
