What’s the worst that could happen, they end up with foreign military bases?? They already have several US…
Most likely outcome is they lose their democracy.
And all their infrastructure owned by corrupt CCP Corpo.
Sounds like the same sort of thing they’re doing with the Ball and Chain- oops, I mean Belt and Road initiative. Might not always see the strings attached but they’re there.
