      Lol we’ll see! I took 2 years of Spanish in school and did like 4 years Duolingo not too long ago and I can’t actually say anything useful in Spanish yet.

      I like comparing the vocabulary and grammar though. I had to double check the “tenir” in French, as in Spanish “tener” is to have, so I didn’t want to say he HAD one foot.

        Well, you can say useful things in french. I though they was another French in the community before I checked the username !

          Yes, but it’s Google doing a lot of the work. I do put in the effort to try to phrase things for the best results, and if it’s some more slang or an idiom, I’ll try to find that from another source first, so I am still learning a modest bit.

          I’m glad I was able to make you take a second look who said it, that was my goal! I wanted to catch you by surprise a little bit with a joke that was passable as a French speaker.

            Don’t underestimate yourself. It’s not like if you go to a foreign country, you will not use google. It’s part of the skill.
