I’ve set up a new community ([email protected]) but I’m seeing almost no activity - I know this is normal to a degree, but to receive only one reply on three posts offering free stuff feels weird. I also saw another user complaining about federation from piefed.ca, and when trying to share the community with Lemmy Federate as recommended on the sidebar, I just got an error. Have I done something wrong, is it an instance issue, or is it just coincidence and regular low traffic?

Also, I’d love to get other feedback if anyone has time.
