Are there any almost dev quality maps (aside from obvious ones like river highway or any other popular ones)? Preferably of the realistic types, and not like crash hard etc. Mainly for cruising/exploration.
I have been improving a ported map from NFS U2 (Bayview) for the past few months, mostly adding lighting, seeing as U2 was a nighttime game. I have also made minor improvements (fixes) to the ported map from GTA 3 (Liberty City), and fixed the minimap/navigation for the GTA Vice City map port.
I’m not a map maker but I have been learning, and I prefer big urban maps so I have these along with a few others; bobs city/los injurus is another map by the dev who made the TN map, that just got updated a few days ago on the repo. I haven’t made any changes to it myself since it’s still in active development.
All these maps and more I rotate on my beammp server, too (and I’ve worked the last year to make it a fun place to be, limiting greifers and abilities that can be abused). If you want to poke at any of these on mp, I’m more than happy to jump on with any of these maps and more.

american road note that the map does have issues with textures, there is a solution file in the forum post I think
roane county, Tennessee, USA very big map mostly consisting of highways, though the map doesn’t contain much else.

gambler523 pretty big map, with a good story and missions. But there isn’t much in terms of highways
