I didn’t forget anything. The market drives how things are monetized. If people didn’t buy cosmetics, they wouldn’t sell cosmetics. We decided that we approve of games as a service, so unless people are willing to go back to the monthly subscription model, developers have to keep bringing in money to keep the servers running. It turns out that cosmetics are a happy medium. People who want them can buy them, and those of us who don’t can keep playing the game.
