Tomorrow, I’m moving to the UK (yay!) I lived in France for 3 years, and everything has European Sockets. I’ve got for now one Adaptator That goes from European Sockets to UK Sockets. And I was simply wondering if it was ok to plug a 6-EU Multi-Socket into an Adapter? A 600w PC and a 2k144hz screen will be plugged in it, and maybe a lamp, and sometimes my phone charging

Have a Wonderful Day while you’re at it!

Technically, you’re probably not supposed to.

Practically, yes, it works and is reasonably safe (unless the adapter is cheap garbage). Make sure the adapter has a fuse.

Long term, you could also consider replacing the plug on one of the multi-sockets with a UK plug.

However, the PC almost certainly uses a standard C13 cable. If the monitor also has a cable like that (e.g. a C13 or C5 going to the power supply), consider just buying replacement cables with UK plugs.

Alternatively, just ask your new neighbours for one. I doubt there’s very many households in the UK without a few spare kicking around!

Turned off the PC to check the plug and it is indeed a C13 Cable, more specifically a Type O with Ground Plug to C13, that I’ve been using since March when I got the PSU The Monitor is a Portable one (I found exactly what I wanted just today and it’s really a cool monitor) and is plugged in with a 20W USB-C Plug To Type B

I’d imagine it will be fine.

It’s “adapter” by the way. Not that I’m criticising, just trying to help. I’m super jealous of people that are bilingual.
