    “The gap between 25,000 and 339 speaks volumes” wow that’s a blatant lie. 339 children returned woth a delegation, adding to a previous ~1200. There are databases of thousands: that was just one occurrence of some being returned.

    If the writer is that disingenuous, there’s no point listening to the rest.

    The only people in the west who fear Russia are boomers who got swept up in USSR cold-war propaganda. Most well-informed people in the US for example, don’t even see Russia as a near peer.

      not even a near peer (sounds like peenar hehe) because the US is so massively behind everyone in every metric that matters, right?

        In terms of social culture, I think the two are closer than what most westerners would be comfortable admitting. In terms of military capability… Well Russia is a few years into its “three day special military operation” so not much else needs to be said.
