Hey everyone! Sorry I’m a little late with this, I’m still getting things in order from my vacation and I’m a bit jet-lagged lol. I fell asleep before I could post this last night.

Anyway, I haven’t been able to play much recently but I’m hoping to play some Baldur’s Gate 3 and some Sea of Stars this weekend!

What are you up to? Let us know!

It’s an Iron Banner week in Destiny 2, so I’ll be grinding out some frustrating matches for a sub-par shader. Again.

Juggling between Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Witcher 3. One is easy to get into but bloated, other is clunky but from what I’ve heard, perfection in terms of content. 🤷‍♂️

It took me a while to get into Witcher 3. I restarted like 4 times before I got far enough to want to keep going. I wasn’t that into the combat and progression system but the story and side content really did carry the game for me.

Yeah seems like it. I had already played AC Odyssey for 15 hours so it was easy to just continue doing that, maybe I’ll be able to focus better on Witcher after finishing it. But damn is it bloated.

The combat is the least interesting thing about the game. The world and story are really all of it!

This is my weekend with my son. He is 9, so I’ll be watching him wrap up his Ghost of Tsushima playthrough - assuming he can put down Tears of the Kingdom.

Since I recently added hogwarts legacy he may fire that up too - all in all this is a weekend of me watching games 🙂

I was playing Armored Core VI but I’ve not had much chance to play it recently, now that things have calmed down I’m not sure whether to come back to it later and pick up Sea of Stars instead for the time being.

Sea of Stars has been an enjoyable jrpg to pick up. I’m probably eight hours in and will be adding more for sure. Depending on where things are at, I still haven’t started in on Armored Core and might pop the cork on that, it’s been so long since I’ve sated the mecha nerd in me.

I made the mistake of starting a bunch of long games to my currently playing list…BG3, Dave the Diver, and now Sea of Stars. It’s going to be awhile before I finish any of them. Glad you’re loving SoS!

Welcome to my world. I don’t do that, and I constantly say I don’t do that, but I ended up doing that. Currently playing 4-5 games, and none of them are finishing any time soon.

My Spider-Man PS5 is finally all hooked up, so I’ll be playing the 2 games I got to kill the time until Spidey is out. Gotham Knights and Returnal.

I’ve got a little time on each already. As a enjoyer of the Arkham games, I wanted to try Gotham Knight in spite of the mediocre reviews. The $10 price tag helped too… I can see why people didn’t dog this one. Combat is clunky and I’m already feeling a “this again” vibe to the mission. But I do like the structure of patrolling each night and am interested in where the story goes, so I’ll stick to it for a bit longer.

Returnal seems like it’s right up my alley. I really like the rogue like game type. I’ve only done 2 runs so far and am looking forward to seeing what future runs unlock.

I really struggled with Returnal when it first came out. Came back to it a year later and was able to get my head around it. Got hooked and Platinum’d it. Now I recommend it to anyone who will listen.
