Well, the gag and conversation isn’t exactly new, they just inserted Adora and Catra. It may not fit perfectly in detail, but I think it seems like Adora to not know how to pronounce “quiche”. It may also seem to Catra to be extremely weird and unexpected of Adora to just nonchalantly ask for sex.
Thinking about it a bit more, would make a great deal more sense if they swapped the characters over? Then you get Catra’s “Hey Adora” catchphrase, Catra is a bit less book smart, and Adora gets the blushing response.
