Did you logout/login? I had the same issue. An update was made that requires a logout/login. But even after that I didn’t see anything. I was able to browse communities then was able to see posts from my subs.
It worked! This is the account on my lemmy.ca instance that wasn’t working before. Thank you!!
They’re independent for every account on every instance. So each could have totally different subscription lists if you want.
