I could have sworn there were lighter broadcast restrictions after 10 pm

Indecent and profane content are prohibited on broadcast TV and radio between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

SNL: Saturdays at 11:30 pm.

11:30 pm is 1h30m after the “prohibited” section, which ends at 10pm and resumes the following morning at 6am. So…it is allowed for SNL to say “shit” then?
