If nothing else, I respect Burr for pushing back against the whole “comedians are the modern day philosophers” bullshit line.
Comedians are entertainers, they can make astute points like anyone else but stop getting your worldview from them.

He is not wrong about Tucker Carlson being a hack but his deflection of being a comedian is weak. The Tonight Show had comedic elements but was still a news show with a political bent and was relied on as a news source by a large group of people. He was conveniently just a comedian when receiving criticism while a political commentator when receiving praise.
