Second time I’ve seen this video and both times it stands out to me how he’s taking the time to ask them about their living conditions in detail. I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of a US representative doing that; just a lot of unfulfilled campaign promise vagueness. But it makes sense that he would. It fits with communist practice of investigating conditions, so that you can do something about them.
