They sell things that come in cups, or with napkins. Lots of people cycle/run/walk here instead of driving, seems pretty stupid.

Taking away the bins doesn’t mean you don’t produce rubbish…

Edit: I think there is still a bin IN the cafe, but most people eat/drink outside. Lots of people asking staff where the bins are. Still hypocritical I think though? (And still mildly infuriating to remove well used bins!)

The forest center near me removed the bins.

    … From their café/picnic area

Says “their” in the comment when you open the post.

If you run a business, you generally dispose of waste that that business produces, if there’s a sit in area provided.

Yeah dude, OP is an idiot and lied to make this post, you seriously expecting them to know that the restaurant and park aren’t the same…?

If you run a business, you generally dispose of waste that that business produces, if there’s a sit in area provided.

They do? Inside the cafe. You are not suggesting that a food business would be going against the law and their business license by not having them for their own personal use are you…? Right….?

They most likely removed the bins so the people in the park with their vehicle waste and granola bars weren’t filling it up…. Or people from the cafe were filling up the public bin, making a private business a public issue. Both aren’t good situations.

Yeah, I looked it up. Taking away bins and then moaning about litter is moronic though, cause too many people are dickheads.
