Any suggestions are more than welcome! My legs have taken to shaving without a problem, but everything else, I can’t seem to escape getting a ton of angry in-grown hairs

Oh, well what we do on the few places we do shave is make sure they are well lubricated/softened before hand and then afterwards we scrub them with a shower poof (but really any kind of exfoliating object should work). For many reasons we find it best to do in the shower, if you have one avaliable to you we suggest shaving in it for many reasons.

Also shaving with rather than against the grain. It’s not as close of a shave, so you have to shave a bit more often, but it generally keeps more of the hair shaft above the surface of the skin which can prevent blockage and in-growth. This strategy is especially useful for the pits, due to the increased friction and all the sebaceous glands in that area. (Source: cisfem partner)

Another trick is talcum powder. The kind with menthol (sometimes called “medicated”) is especially popular for the nethers, since it smells nice and feels like a million tiny fairy breaths keeping you cool and dry. (Source: transfem partner and myself)

The ultimate trick is laser hair removal, since each round reduces the growth rate and thickness of the hair produced by each follicle, until they are all but fully ablated. But it can be expensive depending on where you live, and the success rate depends on how much melanin each follicle contains relative to the skin around it, so it’s not a universal solution.
