I think that last sentence should tell you a bit more about h3 than about people critical of h3. The right wing people have not changed. The left wing people have not changed. Ethan changed. He has started to surround himself with people that he once criticized.

For example, if he started dropping the Nword all the time again and suddenly “right wing” people started defending him I think you’d understand what happened. Obviously it’s not that extremely obvious but is similar in terms of his right wing shift. Hateful right wingers defending him should be your biggest red flag. They are using him to spread their reactionary ideas.

Ethan’s defense of Israel has shifted his politics and his fans further right. I’m sure there are a lot of people not very political that still stick around. But Ethan seems to try to say he’s “pro Palestine” while attacking every single person that is in support of Palestinian Liberation in any way. He seems to think his way of “supporting Palestine” while constantly just repeating the talking points of the country perpetrating a genocide and spending the rest of his time insulting and criticizing every single content creator that is critical of Israel in any way.

None of any of this justifies him, his fan, or his critics getting death threats. But my point that “he brought this upon himself” is because I am critical of all of those parties doxing or threatening people. But Ethan is actively doxing and encouraging his fans to take these actions.

But you can judge that for yourself in the videos.

If you’re interested in more about what I’m talking about with Ethan and his gatekeeping of “how one can support Palestine” Noah Samsen has a video covering how YouTubers have done this in general which heavily covers Ethan obviously as he is the largest defender of Israel on YouTube.
