I like that its federated to prevent hierarchical abuse. I dislike the seams of that federation reducing ease of use and reducing population growth, thus reducing the size of niche “Communities” (as Lemmy generically calls them).
I need my <specific video game> subs so I still visit Reddit begrudgingly if only for those. Once those more niche communities grow even slightly big enough for a common back and forth though I’ll probably fully abandon Reddit.
