The Russian Emergencies Ministry officially confirmed that the Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239 are sinking. An MI-8 helicopter has been dispatched to the scene. There are 13 people and fuel oil on board the Volgoneft-212, and 14 people and oil products on board the Volgoneft-239.

“More than 50 specialists and 11 pieces of equipment are already involved in eliminating the consequences. Further information is being clarified,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

            After the US election I’m already in full on doomer mode. We were going towards 3 degrees Celsius before that already. All the copium articles were already “if we act NOW then…” kind of garbage, as if people suddenly became okay with actually needed climate policies. And now the world is supposed to compensate for all of the US emissions that will come out of Trumps fascist agendas? Not gonna happen.

              I unfortunately don’t have the luxury of giving up- us parents in the know are aware we had it much easier than our kids will, and we didn’t have it easy either.

              I cant stop it, can’t ignore it, but I can do what I can.
