We had so many games that we had strong openings but we broke down in the 3rd quarter.
This time we became even stronger after mid term

Next level RB. Giving up a TD, eliminated the risk of fumble, and didn’t give Cowboys the opportunity of throwing two Hail Mary and a success onside kick

Gotta agree with Shanny… Clean up the holding penalties and this was a very different half. Here’s hoping we come out swinging!
Anyone got a hot take on the game? I’ve not really followed the Cowboys this season.
I don’t know how hot this is, but I expect a good game based solely on the history of these two teams.
Dallas has been a bit of mess this year, but so have we.

Well, we won. That’s good. With all the injuries, we need to win every game we can if we want to have a chance to make a run when some of our injured players come back. Still, injuries are not our only problem. Too many drives ended by penalties, dropped passes, and turnovers or near turnovers. Against a better team, those would really hurt us, and could be the difference between a win and a loss.
I thought our defense played really well, overall, though there were some missed assignments or something in that fourth. Ceedee got wide damn open multiple times, and that allowed the cowboys to get back in it.
At full strength, I think we could compete for another Superbowl. But, I’m still not sure how good Purdy is. I think the best part of his game might be picking up first downs with his legs. He’s good against a lot of zone looks, but he struggles against man. He also puts the ball in harms way too much. It didn’t matter in this game, but if we hadn’t recovered his fumble, that could have really hurt us, and he was nearly picked off, again.
The most important thing… did you have fun watching the game?

Edit: I really enjoyed the third quarter. That was excellent. The rest of the game was kind of up and down.

Whatever decision making process they have in place that let them allow Ceedee Lamb to be completely wide open for his 2 TDs needs to be completely revised. Almost blew another huge lead in the 4th quarter.
The broadcast clearly showed (and talked about) the DB’s tripping over each other on that second TD. The first looked like a blown coverage… in other words an execution problem. Neither seemed like a decision making problem.
So scary in the 4th quarter. So shouldn’t allow them two quick TDs.
