Tim Ream says he wants to play for the USMNT at the next World Cup on home soil in three years, when the Fulham defender will be 38.
The center back, who has 51 caps for his country, was a key figure for the London club on its impressive return to the top flight last season, playing every game until a fractured arm forced him to miss the last five fixtures.
Fulham finished 10th and only three teammates played more minutes than the 35-year-old, although his injury meant he featured little in Marco Silva’s side’s pre-season preparation this summer.
