This didn’t feel right as a genuine apology. It’s not quite at the “I’m sorry if you feel offended” level but it seems a bit slippery and evasive to be genuine.
Ya it’s very much a PR statement to address the drama but not the core issues. Especially since they decided to downplay the facts.
