Regardless of our pleb level opinions, they hold a TON of power especially as a political voice platform as well as pure user data tracking and ad platform. Musk will get booted for going to far one day and they’ll find someone who’s still controversial but not as weird as musk to replace as a “show of good faith” if that makes sense. Nobody is saying to bail out twitter, but the effective equivalent is that huge list of stakeholders above.
