That article clarified a little more that this ‘recall’ is still just a software update with a scary name. It’s just updating the hood sensor to alert if it detects the hood is not fitted. Is it negligible that they aren’t doing a physical fix? Oh hell yeah, but they’re still just pushing it to software.
