    Collapsible steering column? I know my classic American cars don’t.

      The beetle got a collapsible column in 68 so judging by the rear wheel and vent behind the rear window, this one should have had one.

    Still, could have been a bus. Loved all my buses, but still a bit weirded out by almost nothing between you and what you hit. Damn i wish they weren’t so expensive now.

      I was pretty young when I owned my bus so I didn’t yet appreciate physics enough to worry. Decades of bumps and bruises later, I’d still drive one but I’d be a lot more aware of my mortality.
