Not asking for a reason, but given how much crazy stuff has been happening week after week and multiple crazy twists and turns I’m curious.
This is directed at both the Hard Replace Factions(Kamalaists and those who want someone else like Whitmer or Newsom), Ridin-With-Biden Loyalists, and the fence sitters.
This isn’t about how likely either the switch or the polls are, just the reactions you’d have if after a month of crisis and a last minute switch it did nothing for the polls.
Easy question. Unless some third candidate comes out of nowhere with higher poll numbers than Kamala, I’d vote for Kamala in the primary and (unless the Democratic nominee was somehow worse than Trump which seems unlikely) for whoever wins the Democratic primary in the general.
I don’t really consider myself a hard replace factionist, a ridin-with-Biden loyalist, or a fence sitter. More of a so-done-with-this-shit, disillusioned, blue-no-matter-who’er.
Voting was the last thing I meant, I meant moreso what would you be commenting on here or making memes about. Everyone here is solid blue or maybe the occasional psychotic centrist(all 4 of them).
Pretty sure the above comment was my first comment on this subreddit, and it’s not unlikely that I won’t post here again any time soon.
But I think my general reaction would be “everything was already fucked and getting fuckeder, so this tracks. Sure hope they can beat Trump in November.”
Honestly given this whole season I wouldn’t bet on things being stable for anyone afterwards. Someone should keep an eye on the Archduke of Austria at the rate we’re going. Hang on let me check who that would be…
Oh holy crap his name is Ferdinand Habsburg and he’s a race car driver, make sure he doesn’t stall out in front of any Serbs
Agreed. The dems who are whining about Biden being fit to run need to decide whether they are running against him or support him. Shut up, or step up - anything else just perpetuates a talking point that is hurting the election.
