I’m going to be visiting Austin and was wondering about tickets to the Austin City Limits Festival. I would like to go to the second Saturday but the only option currently is to join the wait-list or buy overpriced tickets on the secondary market. Does the waitlist actually ever open up? Do tickets on the secondary market become more reasonable as the show date gets closer? Can’t wait to visit your city!

The waitlist is a hit or a miss but there’s a lot of people who sell tickets on FB marketplace. Just make sure that you can register your band and you’ll be good! If you’re meeting in person, see if you can register on the app before you pay. If you’re doing online, go for PayPal goods and services since they offer good buyer protection in case the tickets don’t work!
Make sure you get breakfast tacos. Doesn’t matter where from! Hope you enjoy your trip
