Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, posted on X on Friday: "Spain, which never misses an opportunity to lecture Israel, has declared a state of emergency in Ceuta following the crisis over its immigration policy.
Sharing Danon’s post, Spanish Transport Minister Oscar Puente remarked: “Well, it all seems to be becoming quite clear.”
I’m assuming it’s a different story if so many citizens want to be under Spanish rule?
No it is not you can’t invade another country even if majority of the population want to be annexed. A referendum is the only legal way which has 0.01% to happen
There’s no guarantee the government would allow a referendum. Either way human rights, like the right to self-determination, trumps any legal framework.
That’s why i said the chance is so minimal but you can’t simply invade a country even if all it’s people in the invaded country want it

If all people want it. The king is people, he wants it, he’d accept it.
They want Spanish wealth, they don’t want Spanish culture though.
Even if 100% of Moroccans wanted to live in Spain, they probably wouldn’t vote to be annexed. They want to still be Moroccan.
