Seconded to Bazzite. I just installed it on my Steam Deck and I’m surprised at how well it works as a desktop too. Not actually planning on using it as a desktop though it’s nice to know the option is there.

I criticize our country for a lot, but the National Parks we did right by. I’m so glad we did that.

Totally worth it. The ones you’ve actually heard of though are too popular and generally require a reservation and waiting to visit. But there are a LOT of National Parks that are “less popular” that are just as amazing that don’t require reservations or possibly even entrance fees.

I’ve heard that higher ed disqualifies you for hiring. They don’t want people who can think for themselves.

Additionally, with the Pixel 9 holding down the power button no longer turns it off, you have to press power and volume up at the same time to get to the power menu.

Broadchurch was great for that as well. I adored Olivia Coleman in that, and often forgot she was acting it felt so raw.

Have you read the books? And if so, how does it compare? At least with the books I added a touch of Catcher in the Rye to HP & Narnia to describe it. Because really, Quintin can be a moody little git a lot of the time.

Yes! 100% with you. Any show that makes me care about the characters and miss them when they’re gone is a win in my book. Same for character growth. Firefly, Parks and Rec, and Schmitt’s Creek were like that for me as well.

Thanks for that. A couple of years ago I taught English overseas, from way too young through HS seniors and the 10 - tween age was my favorite. Old enough to be actual little people, but young enough to still think I’m cool. I loved that “start becoming who they’ll be as an adult” phase, it really was a beautiful thing.

I know it won’t all be sunshine and roses, but I’m excited for this opportunity!

Yeah, the Hitler Youth propaganda is what I’m afraid of. Hopefully, I can counteract that in day to day life, but the thought still scares me.
