Interesting list of books. Have fun!

Hmm…
I have read only his Kaiju Preservation Society and it’s good. I got the first few books of Old Man’s War, and plan to start it soon.
Yeah, reading is great for that.
Maybe it’s my bias since I already know, but it sounds like a book written by an AI.
For the first time in my life, upvoted a deleted comment, only because of you! 😀
Yeah, but since I am reading them close to each other, with about a month or two gap, it seems like a nice change of pace. Like some TV shows would randomly have a musical episode in there, just for fun. This isn’t fun like that, but it’s still a different view into the world. Things we didn’t know much about.
Loving it for now. Not sure how I’ll feel by then end though.
Amra Thetys Series sounds fun. Clichés when executed well can be fun. Will take a look!
Verily, that’s a valiant choice, vibrant and visionary!
Other than what Jaymes mentioned below (above?), it’s an urban fantasy, protagonist is a wizard in a chicago, working as a PI. Starts from there, but characters evolve as the series progresses.
Also, “dresden” isn’t my real name 😀
Why didn’t you like Old Man’s War, and do you like Scalzi’s other work?
You copied my bingo square “x of y”!
Fifth Season is a very depressing book. I had hard time reading and finishing the series. Not a bad book though.
Never read it, adding to my list.
Nice. Learning a new language? Or just a different language you already knew?
Reading a book is a great way to improve your language skills, also makes learning fun.
That’s good, this should help us to read more, not restrict us.
Ooh, that reminds me I haven’t marked my bingo card for Streams of Silver!
These days, it seems just finding writers that actually like the source material is big win. So many stories butchered.
(Haven’t read or watched Murder bot series, just salty about some other ones)
Finished Streams of Silver by R. A. Salvatore. 2nd books in Icewind Dale Trilogy (sub series in Forgotten Realms series).
The book is a very quick and easy read. Took me about 2 and half months, but that’s mostly because of my personal life, in normal situation, I guess I would’ve finished it in a week or so, maybe even less.
Thinking about starting the Witcher series by Andrzej Sapkowski, I read most of it a long time ago, but didn’t finish the series, so thinking about reading it again, and completing it, but I don’t have the books, so will start something else if I don’t buy them today/tomorrow.
Yeah, it’s a pretty neat device. Don’t have any issue with it.
Yeah, my kid loves them. I have only read first 3 or so though.
Sony PRS-350 😀
It’s old, but I am not a big e-book reader. Will probably get a Kobo one once this dies.
Edit: Just read other comments and noticed that you are talking about software, not hardware. Sorry, don’t read e-books on computer or mobile, unless it’s a webnovel, in that case, simple browser or official app of the site.
Sure, will share it here when I read it.
