I totally understand people who like Gnome, don’t get me wrong, it’s just not for me.
Since i’m on a rolling release, I thankfully always have the newest versions of Cosmic. They recently also added blurring effects, so that’s pretty fun. Hope it works better for you now!
you would describe KDE as… not customizable?
Gotta say, I don’t really think there’s any big issues with Cosmic anymore. They are updating very very quickly, and at this point is consumes less resources than XFCE…
It also has a native tiling mode xD
well, I thought it was important since usually people using Cosmic are on Pop!_OS
That’s not really my issue. I actually prefer MacOS like-interfaces, although in the grand scheme of things I don’t actually care. I mostly just want to be able to choose what I want though.
idk… it just feels very locked down, and honestly every time i’ve tried it, there’s been some issue with it. I feel like it’s not customizable enough for me, and also the themeing is inconsistent.
I’ve considered it, but i’m not sure if I like the scrolling tiling yet…
It’s a desktop environment, originally from Pop!_OS. It’s very new, and sometimes still slightly buggy but I really like it.
It’s a hybrid tiling or floating wm. The tiling mode is really good though!
uh… since when is SystemD a distro?
I see. Have a nice day. I still won’t use Fedora.
It’s stable and reliable.
Sorry. It’s still corporate, since it’s coming from red hat. Thanks for telling me though.

idk, is it really that bad? I’ve heard of many people using debian sid for daily
it’s not that hart to upgrade, just change the sources list and run apt dist-upgrade
Indeed, and… oh fuck I haven’t done my injection yet
Arch is better (guess what I use btw)
