I sometimes feel bad that animals that know how to use word buttons and iPads and all these interesting new technology things will never be able to pass their knowledge down to other animals in the wild and I wonder sometimes if animals as a whole would be smarter if we would just share our smart pets with the wild animals so they can learn good stuff

… oh yeah, I think it might lol but the smart animals that escaped and taught wild animals in that movie were being horrifically abused… so we could have a planet of the cats I guess, where everything was nicer? One would hope

Sigh, If it’s not animals it’s gonna be aliens, clones, or robots. Only hope is Some tech boi or evil captialist learns the lesson of not being a jerk before they ruin it for humanity.

Did you see the prophecy documentary 3 robots? Once cats gets thumbs, it’s over.

That’s basically why humans are OP. A maxed out teach skill, paired with a high social base stat, is incredible synergy. Tool use is just a bonus.

Exactly! My sister worries that she spoils her dog but I explain that animals aren’t children, we aren’t supposed to be raising them into well adjusted people who need to go out on their own into the world. They’re just pets, we keep them for companionship and joy, and giving them simple pleasures and seeing them happy is the point.

        Agreed!!

But not to be confused with training pets tho.

You can still have a trained dog that you spoil with some things.

For example: serve steak to your dog that’s not allowed in the kitchen. So they sit patiently at the edge drooling away.

I don’t know whether to find it chilling or heartwarming that I could basically have taken this photo.
