Hi there, dear Subscribers!
Another week, another question, but before we get to that, just one reminder: don’t hesitate to post your favourite music. It would be great to see what the community likes to listen to.
So, let’s get to the QOTW:
What are your favourite three classic rock guitar solos?
As for me, mine are:
- Boston - Hitch a Ride
- Eagles - Hotel California
- Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights (played by Ian Bairnson)
Well, even though I’m not such a big fan of the guitar/guitar player, it was very difficult for me to narrow it down to three, so I’ll give you five.
Steve Howe in Perpetual Change by Yes on Yessongs.
Mark Knopfler in Sultans of Swing.
Angus Young in Let there be Rock, Live at River Plate concert video.
Eric Clapton in While my guitar gently weeps by The Beatles, also in the George Harrison Live in Japan version.
The Edge in New Year’s Day by U2.
