You don’t have a steady stream of bandits you can capture?
The only raiders I capture are aliens fed lavish chickpea soup and given proper healthcare in exchange of me extracting all of their desirable genes. All the baseliners get dismembered
You don’t need hydroponics farm, all you need is corpses from raiders or animals & some meat processing units (to clear human meat status)
From what i learned from RimWorld with enough organs to harvest & sell to caravan, you basically can make your colony very rich & you can buy anything from market. In the end you don’t need hydroponic farms because you can buy vegetarians food from market as long as you have corpses laying around in freezer & because your colony getting richer & richer your colony getting raid more often
All my money comes from selling organs and chickpeas. Growing chickpeas in an artificial ecosystem + a sprinkler, we easily pump out like 10k chickpeas every evening, the excess that doesn’t stack the shelves get sold for thousands or converted to chemfuel for the tanks. Chickpeas > Soylent Green.
