This is not correct. You have to exhale slowly while ascending from a dive so that air in your lungs doesn’t expand too much under decreased pressure, and cause mechanical damage. The lungful of air you went in with can’t expand larger than it was. Also, the bends comes from blood saturation of an inert gas after breathing it under pressure. For such a short time, and without an air tank, you can’t get the bends.
